Happy Tails Lodge combines more than two decades of pet care with a commitment to safety, enrichment, and exceptional guest experiences. Set on three acres that were once a veterinary hospital, our campus now includes five half-acre play yards and a 3,600-square-foot indoor play space with heated floors.

Our Services
Dog Boarding
Away for a night or a week, your dog gets individualized attention, daily exercise, and real socialization. Choose from multiple boarding options, and add grooming or training to the stay so your dog comes home clean, rested, and happy.
Dog Daycare
Dogs exercise, learn, and make friends across five half-acre yards and a heated indoor play space. Every dog is evaluated first, then placed in a compatible group with trained staff supervising the entire time. Expect a tired, happy dog at pickup.
Pet Grooming
Regular grooming does more than improve how your pet looks. It keeps skin and coats healthy and leaves your pet feeling as good as they look. Grooming can be added to any boarding or daycare visit.
Dog Training
Group obedience classes and one-on-one sessions for pets and their parents, held at the Lodge or in your home. Training works best when it carries into daily life, so we coach you alongside your dog and build on the social skills they're already practicing in daycare.
Bark Bus
Our custom pet shuttle picks up and drops off for daycare, boarding, and grooming appointments, so a busy schedule never costs your dog their day out. The Bark Bus also delivers food, treats, and supplies straight to your door. Call or email to schedule a route.

Since 2002, Great Falls Has Trusted Us With Its Pets
Happy Tails Lodge opened in 2002 in a building that started life as a veterinary hospital for pets and horses. Over the years, the three acres became play yards, the interior became boarding suites and a grooming salon, and the round barn was rebuilt as an open indoor play space with a heated floor. In 2014, we added the Happy Tails Pet Styling Academy, where we train the next generation of professional groomers. It has, quite literally, gone to the dogs.
Five half-acre yards and 3,600 square feet of indoor space give us room to build play groups that actually fit each dog’s size, energy, and play style. That space matters, because mental and physical exercise are as important for pets as they are for people, and dogs get the most out of both in well-matched groups.
Every new dog is evaluated before joining a group, and every group is supervised.
